Spencer had a vision for his pro FUSE, taking inspiration from the streetwear community and adding some transparency to these boots. RIDE engineers were able to take Spencer’s vision a step further by using as many eco-conscious materials as possible. Using a plant based heel counter and toe piece, sugarcane EVA all over the place, and regrind rubber in the sole, this is quite possibly the most eco friendly snowboard boot on the market. And it looks good too, which is the real deal sealer.
The Spencer FUSE is being delivered in new packaging. To take the “eco story” one step further, RIDE has developed a new way to package our boots. We’re sick of having to put our boot box in ANOTHER box to ship it out, so we made one that’s certified to ship as is. Using FSC® Certified cardboard we’ve built a box that passes durability standards, seals with no tape needed, and is the same dimensions as our previous box (so it doesn’t take up extra space in the backstock room). No need to throw this box in another box to ship them out. Not shipping boots? Use the box to ship something else. No tape needed so you can avoid the argument with the person working the other side of the FedEx counter.
