Style: All Mountain Freestyle
Shape: LowRize™
Stance: Centered
The award-winning Machete wide snowboard features Ride’s LowRize™ rocker shape eliminating hook without sacrificing pop. Cutting through the competition, this go anywhere freestyle twin combines our Pop Rods® 1.0 for an extra dose of pop, with smooth-riding Slimewalls® and durable Cleave Edge™ for a fun surfy wide twin snowboard built to last.
Slimewalls®
Ride’s exclusive Slimewalls® are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls® smoothes the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may Ride on. On top of all that, these babies are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding.
Pop Rods 1.0
More pop and smoother landings without added stiffness. Available in 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0.
Lowrize™
A twin rockered shape that just lifts the contact points out of the snow and has a nearly flat zone under foot.

Comments about Ride Snowboards Machete Wide:
Just got this board and so far I've had only one day on the mountain, but was very impressed. It was a day of mostly groomers with a bit of wet new snow on top. This board charged through it all. It held an edge perfectly on the hard stuff, transitions from edge to edge effortlessly, and absorbs a ton of vibration. Not much chatter at all. It also felt really stable at high speed, which I was a bit nervous about at first since it's my first rocker. Spent a little time in the park and it did well getting up and off rails, and showed some pop on some small jumps. Overall just a sweet board.
