Style: All Mountain Freestyle
Shape: LowRize™
Stance: Centered
The award-winning Machete snowboard features Ride’s LowRize™ rocker shape eliminating hook without sacrificing pop. Cutting through the competition, this go anywhere freestyle twin snowboard combines our Pop Rods® 1.0 for an extra dose of pop, with smooth-riding Slimewalls® and durable Cleave Edge™ for a fun surfy twin built to last.
Slimewalls®
Ride’s exclusive Slimewalls® are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls® smoothes the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may Ride on. On top of all that, these babies are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding.
Pop Rods 1.0
More pop and smoother landings without added stiffness. Available in 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0.
Lowrize™
A twin rockered shape that just lifts the contact points out of the snow and has a nearly flat zone under foot.

I bought the 2012 model of the Machete at the beginning of this season. I must say it is one of my favorite boards I have ever ridden. The LowRize shape gives the board a surfy ride, while still maintaining enough edge contact to carve without washing out. I am amazed at how well it performs in powder. the slime walls and carbon pop rods are also nice touches. The flex is perfect for me, not too stiff, but not too noodly either. All in all I think this is a true all mountain board that will perform in all conditions.

I researched boards for a few months and after riding snow boards for three years, I felt I was ready for an advance board. I decided to buy this board and I'm so glad I did. I went from a Ride Antic, which is a little softer, has a higher rocker, and has less pop to this board. I couldn't believe the difference between these boards. I went straight to the top of Cannon Mountain on a really great day with some of the best packed powder of the season. From the first turn, I knew I could trust this board and it's edges. I went down certain parts of runs I love that I ussually go through at slower speeds and more cautious. With this board I just dropped in and kept a great speed while carving with ease. I was passing people like they were standing still, loving it, and I felt so confident on this board. Buy it, if you are looking to hold hard carves, pop off jumps bigger, and want one heck of a great ride down your favorite mountain.

I used this board once and am kicking myself for not looking at this in the past, great at high speeds, no chatter, decent edgehold. If this is a good board in the northeast its a good board anywhere!! never getting away from the machette line

I got this board last year and rode it all winter. I used on some of Squaw Valley's steepest terrain as well as the parks at Mammoth. The board performed extremely well, and I couldn't have asked for better.

This board is really fast and responsive. I love it in steep chutes and also in the park. I would say its the best board i have ever ridden. No chatter at high speeds. When you set the edge it holds its line with ease. I would recomend this board to anyone. It is my second ride board and i am sold on the quality.

Of all the ride boards I've ever ridden this was my favorite. Almost hard to remember what catching an edge feels like because of the rocker shape. Butters great. Jib sessions were a blast. Floats through powder without having to keep my tips up too much. So satisfied. Best purchase I've ever made. Next up I'll be adding the rodeo bindings for the wedgie and some added flex.
