Slimewalls®
Ride’s exclusive Slimewalls® are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. On top of all that, these babies are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding.

Traditional camber profile with precision consistency.

More pop and smoother landings without added stiffness. Available in 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0.

I actually don't do freestyle very much. But i like to go fast but able to maneuver in controlled manner. Rocker is not the board that fits me well because when i tried my friend's rocker board, it's to soft and quite difficult to keep stable in straight line at high speed (wiggling left-right ).
When i went to the store, the salesman offered me this board (because i have ride's boots and binding), and bought the 153.
First impression, lightweight! It's a hard board, but not too hard. Perfect hardness for me. The pop rods, i don't feel any difference with other boards though. But once i tried to go down the mountain, it's super stable and faster than my friend's boards. The board carves snow easily, and absorbs the vibration or bumps very well. The only thing i don't like is the graphic. Somehow, it looks too serious.

Ive taken it from the west coast powder days to the sloppyness of the mid-west and it shreds it all. Set it back a step and it floats, and is still stable enough to stomp cliff drops. Riding centered in the park works but the flex pattern takes a min to get used to. you can really feel the pop sticks. They really do add some boost to the tips but the middle is softer. so you can get that press AND snap a three out.( as compared to the Kink and a Banana Rocker) Oh and i havent broken the sidewall or an edge which has been the demise of every other board ive touched.

Amazing board overall. I have an older version but I can attest to its longevity. My board has barely a scrape and I've been riding it hard and fast for 4 years. Can't wait to break it out again this year in Breckenridge Colorado.
