I mostly use these binding all mountain and when they work properly they're not bad. that being said shortly after buying them the ratchet on the toe strap started chewing up the ladder strap on my back foot's toe strap and about half way through the second day on the mountain with them it just stopped holding. I've since replaced the ratchet strap and although it's still holding it definitely chews the strap up still. a couple of the ratchets aren't working properly either

I have the 2012 bindings on a board that I originally planned to use this setup on Powder days but have ended up all around the mountain.

I really like the Wedgie footpads. You feel that your legs are in a better position and you get more pop from this.
The ratchets are also fantastic. Wen I first looked at them I was aprehensive about using them as they looked like a complicated design however they have not missed a beat.
The straps are not harsh on boots and the toe strap is great in that it is a super flexible material.
The last thing that I liked was that the heel of my foot has always been super secure in the base of the binding. To the point where I had to hold the board to get them out after undoing them.

There are 2 things that I don't like wand they are the baseplate and the heelcup have kept coming loose. Both would be tight at the start of the day but the baseplate would be loose after half a day of riding and the heel cup would be loose by the end of the day.
The baseplate has since been fixed by replacing the washers to a thicker version.
The heelcup is strange because when it is tightened the screws will only move 1/16th of a turn but there is about 1-2mm movement when it is loose.

Great all-mountain, park & slope choice!

These bindings provide an excellent slope choice!

The overall set-up is easy. The included discs allow for 4 hole integration and unlimited adjustment to dial-in your preferred stance width. A Slot Compatible Disc Kit is available separately when you want to have a real (aluminum) binding that works on your slot-channel board.

The highback is the SlimeBack DE for shock absorption and vibration dampening, it makes for a smooth integrated feel unlike many previous designs. It flexes and flows with your boots avoiding the "stiffback" feel of other brands but is rock-solid in it's response to heelside turns with a bit of comfy give. Also featuring Wedgie™ 2.5 footbed for super-boost of ollie pop. It places your lower legs and knees in a more natural canted position allowing for better use and control of the board, especially in wider stances. The Freestyle Core ankle strap and upgraded AstroGlyde OG ratchets dial-in smooth, hold super comfy and unstrap with ease. In general it almost felt as though the bindings were part of the boot and board, they never bound and tweaked against the boot, they were just part of an awesome feel-good system!

Overall these bindings is one of your best choices for freestyle power over the whole mountain! If you want a more elastic feel for the pow and off-trail, this would be once again a best choice! Sebastien Toutant will be riding this all-over this year. Like Mr. TidBit says, "If it's good enough for him, I guarantee it's good enough for you!"

Revolt bindings have a mellow flex but still have good response edge to edge at speed. They excel in the park and the wedgies are cushy. However, the wedgies move around if the toe ramp adjustment bolt is not tightened well.
