Style: All Mountain Freestyle

Shape: NEW! Hybrid LowRize™

Stance: Centered

The mountain is your playground on this aggressive, yet surfy twin snowboard built for hitting features and locking in landings. All mountain freestyle chargers will benefit from the new versatile Hybrid LowRize™ shape designed with the playful LowRize™ rocker in the tip and tail, and the responsive level micro-camber zone under foot. Taking this response a step further, we have graced the Machete GT snowboard with our all-new Popwalls™ that combines carbon and Slimewall® layers on the sidewall. By moving the carbon to the outside edge of the board we are maximizing the response, grip and stability, making this twin ideal for going big while maintaining an all around playful feel.

This totally unique sidewall combines layers of Slimewall® and carbon strategically placed at the inserts out to the contact points in the tip and tail on a twin, and the back inserts to the contact points in the tail on a directional board. The new and exclusive tech enhances the charging riders’ experience as we have moved the carbon pop construction to the outside edge for better stability and enhanced response.

Rad board. It rides like a camber board, is awesome at speed and loves hitting jumps. The reverse definitely helps for the pow, and makes the board less likely to catch when buttering around, although it takes some strength to butter well.

I had the chance to ride this board at my shop's demo at sugar mountain late in the season. this was my favorite board of the day! ive owned two machete's in the past and this one takes the cake by far....it killed it on everything from steeps to cruzing fun runs. the lowrize in the nose and tail gave it a nice surfy feel and kept the nose out of the crud, while the micro camber between the bindings gives stability, edge hold and super sick pop especially when on edge thanks the ride's new pop walls! I cant stress it enough how hard this board rips!
