      Comments about Ride Snowboards Kink:

My last board was reverse camber and i was just going down everytime i tried to ride flat base on a flat stretch with some speed.. deff noticed the difference easy control to set up for rails. took a couple freeriding runs to find a good amount of timing and pressure to get quick fast craving could of been my new slimback revolt bindings also but yea.. very forgiving board , sometimes your going catch your edge but you can feel it and recover before going down and dont lose speed. i swear in a full day of riding feel like i left beginer and entering advanced riding.. no need for a stomp pad either top side of the board is very grippy when snowy. centering guide for binding set up is very helpful ..best investment ive made in awhile

        Comments about Ride Snowboards Kink:

I have the 2011 Kink and have no complaints about it. I had a bit of catch on a box early in the season the first year riding it, but i feel it just takes getting used to. This board has just the right amount of flex and is definatly not too stiff, butters nicely and allows you to flex it as far as you want. The snap from an ollie you get on this thing gives a nice controlled amount to keep it comfortable under your feet even if you aren't quite used to it. I would say that compared to the K2 fastplant i just bought(one of the stiffest decks i have ever owned), this board is just right for Big kickers, Rails, and anything in between.

            Comments about Ride Snowboards Kink:

Excellent board for everything in your average park from tiny rails to medium/big kickers. Haven't taken it off any bigger jumps (50 ft. plus) but it's super stable in the air on everything up to 45 footers. Flex is def. medium. Anyone who says this thing is a noodle must have been riding a 2x4 before getting on this thing. It can be pressed really nicely but you still have to use a little effort. For riding the park or jibbing off natural features it does everything really well.
The issue with this board is the poor topsheet construction. Mine, as well as just about every kink I see on the mountain, has sections of the nose and tail topsheet delaminating and peeling off in strips, though even with this problem, I don't notice any change in performance. Also the rough topsheet prevents sticker adhesion and it scratches really easily. Hopefully Ride puts a regular topsheet on there for the 2013 instead of trying to be fancy with this weird skateboard deck feeling topsheet.

I ride this deck on rails, jumps, ollie and I spaced my bigger deck whgen i went to island lake for a cat boarding trip this season too. I had the 147 Kink and it was AMAZING. Ride so well, hauled a&&.

best board i've ever owned... in 27 years of shredding.

One of the best boards i ever had!!!
Its great in the park, i stomped so many new tricks!

But are you serious about the quality????
after 20 days on snow the core on nose and tail broke, 4 dings in the edge!
yes i went to the park every day, but that should cool for a park board.
is it the same board darrel mathes described in your product guide as "the first board i used for a whole season"???

i wouldnt be that upset about the board, but a board that is described as "very durable" should be at least a little bit durable...

but its a good board though, so if next years quality is better, i would be on the kink again.

              Comments about Ride Snowboards Kink:

i use the product mostly like 100% in park and it gets me there pretty smoothley and quickly the best things about it are probably the flex and the slimewalls also the flat camber.

probably the worst thing about the board is it does chip pretty easily id you hit the bar on the bottom of the chairlift or if some skiing noob hits you on the way down but otherwise its a great board ans i would definatly reccomend it.
