Comments about Ride Snowboards Jackson Boa Coiler:

These things are so rough on your ankle bones. I will be selling them after only 4 days out. The pain is unbearable and not what I would readily associate with "breaking in" - took them to get fitted and still pinching the tops and side of the ankle. I have been a ride guy since I started Boarding (anthems x 2) but this is unacceptable.

Comments about Ride Snowboards Jackson Boa Coiler:

Even if the coiler fell apart in one boot a week ago (after one year in use) i would suggest this to a friend. Boots are simply great, period. If the coiler breaks again, i will think about my words about the product..

Comments about Ride Snowboards Jackson Boa Coiler:

Used this boot for teaching and free riding in the 12-13 season. Super comfortable but they were toast by April; holes in the shell, cracks in the leather, tweed split all the way across the tongue. Made Spring riding a bog inside my boot and my girlfriend force me to put my boots outside at the end of the day. But I loved them while they were intact. Stylie too. Only days I had a warmth issue was -20 at 11,000 ft.

I've got twenty days on the mountains so far with this boot and my feet have loved it. My only problem is the liner is starting to pack and I'm getting some heel lift.

Comments about Ride Snowboards Jackson Boa Coiler:

Boa system does not allow you to tighten your boot in specific spots. It slips constantly (Boa system). I had to stop every couple hundred feet to tighten them. I could never get a balance between feeling like I was cutting off my blood flow vs. feeling secure in my boot. If you ride hard your feet will be in utter pain feeling all the chatter under your board. After three half days of snowboarding, they lost all stiffness and could be flexed forward as much as my Uggs. The only thing they had going for them was no heel raise. But I'd take some heel raise over feeling absolutely no control over my board.

A comfy, and easy to wear boot

Comments about Ride Snowboards Jackson Boa Coiler:

A size 10, though my ideal, perfect size (based on the sizing system of the sport store) was toooo small and very uncomfortable! Could barely walk! (My first boot - LTD, was a size 11).

A 10 and a half is comfy (my current Jackson Boa Coiler boot size), but my foot/heel slips quite a bit at the back (which can be easily dealt with by tightening the boot).

The fact that I have to occasionally tighten the boot and for aesthetical reasons (this boot looks okay), I couldn't give this a perfect review. But otherwise; its comfy as hell, keeps my feet warm, its stiff and works great with my Ride Antic board and RX bindings.

My analysis/rating of the two sizes of this boot I wore(out of 10):

          Size 10:
          Comfort - (3)
          Performance - (10)
          (13/20)

          Size 10.5:
          Comfort - (10)
          Performance - (8)
          (18/20)

You can see now why I went with a half size higher up! (10.5)
