NE Ride Window Contest

Pure Snowboard out of Waitsfield, VT. is the winning shop for the NE window contest. After a cold day of riding “the Bush” (Sugarbush, VT) we sat down with Travis Kerr at Pure Snowboard to have a few cold ones and discuss his window magic.

Travis hails from the wilds of New Jersey. He has spent 12 years, maybe a baker’s dozen, standing sideways on a board. Travis was brought to the valley by the promise of a free pass working as an instructor. He was in school in Burlington but soon realized he spent more time on the hill than school. So he moved to Sugarbush and commuted to school in Burlington, plus it was better for his wallet (overactive party atmosphere). He has since finished his school daze and is now the manager at Pure Snowboard in Waitsfield, VT.
So what we really wanted to know is what your inspiration for this awesome window was? “Well, my favorite color is orange and Ride’s corporate color is orange so I just went for it.” Travis stated. Plus the chance to get his hands on a new machete definitely motivated him! He had to redo all the windows in the store to get all the materials he needed to finish this one. Thanks for the effort!
