NZ Open

It's that time of year again when the great migration of young up and coming shredders and pro snowboarders migrate south to New Zealand for the Burton NZ Open. The Burton NZ Open will be broadcast live via www.go211.com/burton/nzo its sure to be a break through year as the level of riding over the summer months seems to have progressed to a whole new level.

Watch Ride team riders Seb Toutant, Silvia Mittermuller, Joanna Dzierzawski, Rainey Pogue, Sam Hulbert, Nick Hyne, Teddy Koo, Matt Ladley, Brennen Swanson, Scotty Pike, Mike Moline and Tyler Anderson down in NZ this month.

The action kicks off at Cardrona Alpine Resort August 10-14th with a prize purse of NZ$50,000 that will be spread equally for both men and women in Slopestyle and Halfpipe. Official training starts on Tues 10th, followed by an opening party at Lonestar Wanaka. Pre-qualifiers and Qualifiers start on Weds 11th. Invited riders are seeded directly to the Semifinal stages which start on Friday 13th. The event culminates with the Halfpipe Semifinals and Finals on Saturday August 14th and you can watch it all live via webcast at www.go211.com/burton/nzo.
