Comments about Ride Snowboards El Hefe:

I took these bindings out on a Lib-Tech T.Rice Pro with in a mix of conditions. We rode on powder, ice, hard packed corduroy, and vanilla slush. Most things performed extremely well. The Wedgies kicked my toeside carves up a notch, but due to the highback design flaw, I could not get as comfortable as I'd like. I like my highbacks all the way forward, but if you set the backs halfway of beyond, the clip doesn't grab and slips into the binding. In other words, the clip is too skinny to hold the frame. All this binding needs to be perfect is a few more millimeters of plastic on that clip. Didn't anyone test this during engineering?

Comments about Ride Snowboards El Hefe:

First this new chassy, is super adjustable. But did they tell anyone there sizes changed? Even the rep didnt know. So now i have an xl and need a L but since it was a special order i cant return it. Thanks ride. Maybe ride should make there gear in us or canada. My $400 binders have glue leaking out of every decal. Its smeared down the side. Its even smeared on the inside of the high back. And with this new chassy theres only 2 screws holding you down. Hope you dont have loose screw problems. Plus its a pain to acxess the main 4 screws that anchor your board. These ratchets seem to slip alot when tightening them. Its already shreded the plastic. And you cant over tighten. They just slip. This is my second pair of ride binders. My last pair lasted over 400 days. But these new ones are made in china. I hope this is a wake up call for ride and would love to talk to them about these problems.

Comments about Ride Snowboards El Hefe:

Demo'd these at Loveland, Co. They are SICKNESS! Very stiff which is nice in my book (I'm 230lbs). These things take speed and hard turns like a champ. Didn't get a chance to ride the park with them but if you can fit these in your budget they're well worth it. One last note. I wear a size 14 boot and the Xl worked out perfect. The wedgie footbed gives you that extra lift off the snow as to avoid horrendous toe drag.
